Dr. James "Jim" Orr was an administrator with Caroline County Public Schools for many years. Although now retired, he remains very active with the schools and broader Caroline County community. In addition to CEF, Dr. Orr is especially passionate about supporting The Lucas Nagel Foundation, which is focused on providing help and resources for first responders affected by PTSD.

Dr. Orr has been married for 51 years to Sheila Orr, a former Special Educator for Caroline Schools. They have three adult children and four grandchildren. The Orrs say they feel fortunate to have lived and worked in this community and to have raised their children here as well. All three of their children attended Greensboro Elementary, Lockerman Middle, and North Caroline High.

Dr. Orr says he is excited so support CEF because of its focus on financial literacy and career exploration. "The work of this foundation is both timely and important in a ever changing world," he says.
