
Mr. Milton Nagel
BOARD TRUSTEE
Milton Nagel is the Executive Director of the Maryland Association of Boards of Education, which provides professional development, advocacy, legal resources, and a large variety of member services to all twenty-four Maryland public school systems. Prior to Joining MABE, Mr. Nagel worked in Administration for Caroline County Public Schools for 30 years.
Mr. Nagel is a proud graduate of Colonel Richardson High School. He lives with his wife Tina in Federalsburg. They have two sons, JT and Lucas (forever 27), both of whom also graduated from CRHS. Mr. Nagel's family also includes daughter-in-law Maddi and grandson Weston.
In addition to serving on the CEF Board, Mr. Nagel is very active in the community. He has served as a Chesapeake Community College Trustee, Channel Marker Board Member, and Shore Regional Health Board Member. He has received several distinguished recognitions including the Caroline County Human Services Council Volunteer of the Year Award, the Lee D. McMahan Volunteer Service Award, the Paul B. Bell Award for School Business Officials, and Maryland School Safety Superintendent of the Year Award.
Mr. Nagel is passionate about CEF's mission. "I've seen firsthand the number of young people that need additional assistance in order to realize their dreams beyond high school, and I feel compelled to do my part to help them in every way possible," he says.
