Bob Willey is enjoying retirement after working in financial administration for Dorchester County Public Schools for many years. Mr. Willey is a Certified Public Accountant who previously owned his own accounting firm in Denton.

He lives in Denton with his wife Ann of 17 years. He has two adult children, Jason and Erin, as well as four grandchildren, all of whom are products of Caroline County Public Schools.

Mr. Willey was a Chairman of the original Caroline Education Foundation that was active in the 1980s and early 1990s. In addition to helping to revive CEF, Mr. Willey has volunteered his time to many other local organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, Channel Marker, Inc., the Caroline County Ethics Commission, CASA of Caroline County, Rebuilding Together, and St Luke's Global Methodist Church, where he has served as Treasurer.

With his background in public education finances, the mission of CEF is close to Mr. Willey's heart. "I'm always interested in ways to supplement regular CCPS budget. I hope to use Foundation to foster financial literacy for our local students. The need is growing each day," he says.
